Fish Health Management Class #OJT


Wednesday 5th September 2018. Today I am attended class of Fish Health Management from 09.30 am until 11.00 am. We were learned about Parasitic Phylum Myxozoa (Myxosporea). The parasites had many kind, which are Generalized henneguya, Myxidium sp., Kudoa sp., Generalized myxobolus, Sphaerospora renicola, Thelohanellus sp,. they had 10 – 20 ยตm in length or width, kind of obligate parasites, had more than 1300 species describe, and this disease also could made face of fish like yellowish also internal the organt (primer identify), because the parasites stay on the muscle. After finished the class I went to my room at ISAT U for took some fish for practical work, lunch, pray then back to the class. From 01.00 pm until 04.00 pm, we were identifying the fish that we bought in several markets, like SM City, Miagao market and many more, identify for them is there any disease or parasites in their body, im used selar boops fish for my practical work, then i found a worm in his flesh, so hard to found parasite on their body because mose of them were a healthy fish, with pinkish gills, fresh bodys, and clean mouth. And that it mean Philippines’s fish are good and healthy. After finished OJT we back to our room at ISATU Miagao Campus. 5 days more.
